HI from AFRICA!!!!!!!!!!!
That’s right!! Baby Ryan is travelling all about Africa right now and it’s so much fun!! I just was in this place that is like a zoo except the animals aren’t in pens and there are no walkways or zoo keepers or cages and the animals all walk around because this is where they live before they decide to go to work in the zoo for their job. I can understand why some of the animals would want to have their job in the zoo cause the lions and leopards sometimes eat the other animals which wouldn’t be fun to be eaten so it makes sense for them to go work in a zoo but I think that most of the animals would have more fun here.
Did you know that some of the cats here like the lions and the leopards (not like Uncle Jack’s cat Jinxie) like to climb trees? They also know how to get down cause they’re big cats and big cats know those types of things. While we were exploring the other day in a big car we came around a corner and there were TWENTY-FIVE ELEPHANTS coming towards us and they didn’t stop!! The driver backed up and kept backing up and they kept coming and coming and then the big queen elephant in the front charged and they all charged and we went as fast as the car would go backwards and escaped but it was so much fun and I was laughing and I want to do that again and again and again and AGAIN!!
I also when I first got here went under the water with lots and lots of sharks. I was in a cage with the scary sharks that are called great white sharks but I don’t know why they’re called white cause they have lots of grey too. They came super-close to the cage and some people were scared but I wasn’t TOO scared cause I was in a cage and I think they would have gone for this girl who was super super super scared because she panicked. I also went scuba diving with other sharks in an underwater forest but they were nice sharks and not scary sharks and there were five kinds that I saw which was great! There are monkeys looking at me and making faces and I’m making faces back at them right now but I have to go because I want to explore more but I wanted to write something on my blog since have been away and am still away but wanted to say hi to everyone and, if you want, I’ll say hi to the animals for you!!!
Wow, that is one exciting blog entry. I can't believe the adventures you're having...elephants and great white sharks! Scary and fun!! Hope you will write more about your trip when you get back.
ReplyDeleteHey Ryan,
ReplyDeleteIf I could drive I wouldn't mind meeting up with you. There are number of AB and DL guys here in South Africa who wouldn't mind saying HI.
Next time you come out to Africa give me a heads up and I will give you a few local contacts of the guys I know.
Hope you have loads of fun but seriously don't get out of the car in the game parks because the animals are WILD and will kill you. Tourist have been hurt by elephants and Lions in the past so please use extra common sense as wild life really are totally wild.

Wow, what an adventure you're having! That's so cool that you get to see all those neat animals. My favorite African animal is the chimp but I really really like the monkeys too. I'm a little jealous that you got to play with some...but mostly I'm happy for you cuz that's so awesome!!
ReplyDeleteBaby is having so much fun in Africa and Daddy is just so very very happy for him. He gets to see and do and explore so many new and wonderfgul things. Daddy`s favorite is the lion...graceful,majestic,powerful.. ...quite different from our cat Jinx. And as nice as baby`s offer is to bring Jinxie for an African visit;Jinx gets alll panicky if she ever has to go outside. baby knows just how nervous and silly Jinxie is. Baby is actually staying in Africa an extra month;until April 1st. And I am so thrilled for him...but...I DO miss him so very much. So in another month Daddy will get to bathe and diaper his Baby. We will look at alll the pics of his trip and get insightsfrom baby on alll of them. Wer will watch the Beatles"Yel;low Submarine and cuddle. Baby will get bathed, have lots of toy time. I just bought baby 3 news books;so tere willl be lots of story time. There willl be so much more...but the best of all willl be to just be able to hold Baby Ryan and just never want to let go again. April cant come soon enough for daddy....:)
ReplyDeletewell my favorite is a hippo, cause i have one and he told me thats what i have to say. and Henry is a nice hippo, but you dont want to get him mad. cause he is always hungry
ReplyDeleteMine would have to be the male African lion. Ever since the Lion King I always thought they were just awesome with their big proud manes. I hope you got a lot of pictures or videos of these adventures you can share with. Really awesome.
ReplyDeleteDaddy is so happy for my baby that he gets to see so much of Africa. And daddy is happy that Baby will be home soon to be diapered and telll me alll about his adventures...:)
ReplyDeleteWow, Baby Ryan, you sure are lucky to get to spend so much time in an incredible place like Africa. All those monkeys--wish I could have been there to see them. Chimps are my favorite of all apes and monkeys, it's so cool that you got to see them so close-up!! Let us know how the Camelot of Africa was, because it sounds really neat.
ReplyDeleteu r SOOO lucky to see monkeys in the wild! I love monkeys and they always make me laugh. U r lucky and I will foolw ur blog, well done!
ReplyDeleteDaddy cant wait for his baby to get back home. He says he has lots and lots of pictures to show me and so many stories to telll about his trip. And he has a gift for me...but he wont give me any details.Daddy has missed baby Ryan so very very much. By the time I see him this saturday, it will have been 62 days since we have been together......62 day..1,488 hours..89,280 minutes..5,356,800 seconds.......OR a combination of 496 baseball/hockey/football games.....OR watching EVERY single MASH epesodes 19 times. As I write this....only 112 hours to go YAYYY!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWow, more cool adventures. Thanks again for sharing them with us, Baby Ryan. It's so neat that you got to explore those castles. That cave sounds really scary, though, but pretending to be a dragon is a great idea cuz I know dragons aren't afraid of dark caves, or anything at all!! Oh, and we have an Ethiopian restaurant in my neighborhood called Lalibela--now I know where the name comes from!
ReplyDeleteHave fun in Paris eating all those yummy French desserts. So glad you had such a fun trip...travel safely the rest of the way home!!
Your having a great time you lucky boy:)
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like an awesome trip... you're a lucky lil boy. Sounds like the trip of a lifetime.
ReplyDeleteDaddy is so happy that his baby has returned. We got together twice last weekend;when Baby first got back. We spent both days together and Daddy had to work night shift also. So there was no sleep for two and a half days,,but it was well worth it to have Baby Ryan back. We had lots of fun and were very anxious for the 2 days that Ryan talks about here.
ReplyDeleteWe had lunch and looked at alll the pics that baby had taken from Africa. Wow...it was great to see them and to have Baby telll me the story behind each of them. We caught up on MASH and Baby had a very long bath. I did get very wet;but i just figured that Baby and the toys hadn`t had a bath together in a long time and they were just a bit excited. BNaby Ryan didn`t telll u that the shower cuurtain and rof came down and that he was sitting there alll wrapped up in them...:)We made bubbles twice for baby and he was in the tub over an hour. We eventuallly had to have supper and then get ready to go see Billy Elliot. It was a great play, with lots of dancing and music. We got Baby some shorts from Billy elliot. i am hoping that we will take pics of Baby wearing them and posting here. They are tight fitting and will show off Babys sweet diapered bum...:).
After we gopt home, Baby played with legos and we waited for jack to get home from work, Baby loved Scream and has since seen Scream 2. I am planning to watch Psycho with baby on thursday. I love to watch scary movies with baby Ryan. He lies there wit me and will hide his face, scream or squeeze me so very tight when there is a scary part.
it was close to 330am when Baby and I decided to get ready for bed. Baby cuddled with Jinxie for awhile and then it was time to read him a story. Baby choose "Have you seen my purr?" Ryan said that it reminded him of Jinxie. IOts about a cat that has lost his purr and goes about asking the other animals if they have seen it. And Baby got to make all the animal noises in the story....cat,dog,cow,mouse,sheep,ow l and more. Baby emjoyed it quite a bit. After a bottle, it was more hugs and time to sleep.
I woke up to baby cuddled up against me. He was obviously wet,,but I waited a bit before changing him. I got him a bottle of juice and then read him another story. This one was called ;I`m gonna be the best superhero ever". baby made a huge lego thingie..:) . He started it overnite and it was in 3 la5rge pieces. We left it out until the morning when baby could finish it and put it alll together. Pictures of it are sure to follow at some point.:).We played, talked and had a great great time until baby eventuallly had to leave. It was a great time and I am looking forward to so many m,any more fun times with Baby....:)
